The professional entomologist, lepidopterist, and interpreter will be in the Pratt Welcome Center from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. to share her love of butterflies and to sign copies of her 300 page guide book. The well-known Little Rock artist is recognized for creating unique art and for helping others get in touch with their creativity. Her mosaic art is featured exclusively at the Clinton Museum Store; and she has appeared numerous times on KATV Channel 7's Daybreak sharing her unique art and garage sale tips. Jones will give a powerpoint presentation and a demonstration to inspire the artist in you. | |

We'll be gathering at the Garvan Pavilion at 11:00 a.m. for a delicious meal served to the toe-tapping tunes of the Jazz Cats. 1 to 4 p.m. (Sunday) Kandy Jones, the Garage Sale Queen, will teach a class on creating garden mosaics. Class cost is $100 and includes all materials/grout and glue for mosaics; assorted babbles; incidental supplies; and tools. For mosaics, choices include (but not limited to) hypertufa birdbath, planter or stepping stone, cross, flower bucket, mirror or vase. Participants may bring babbles or sentimental dishes to incorporate into their piece. The Queen finds lots of fun items in her search for treasures, so please visit with her at least 2 weeks prior to class to discuss what you would like to create. Class size is limited.
